The Goulburn Lantern Club raising funds for the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC) and supporting families in the Goulburn area held its Christmas Lunch on Friday December 14 at Best Western Plus on Lagoon Street Goulburn.

President Rona welcomed members, guests and supporters and thanked them very much for supporting the club. Tables were beautifully decorated with Christmas ornaments and bonbons.
A most delicious Christmas main course was served by Best Western staff followed by delectable chocolate mousse and Christmas cake made by Rona and Lorraine with tea and coffee.
Lorraine also gave each person a box of Christmas biscuits and sweets.
Door prizes were won by Charlotte McCarthy, Judy Jackson and Rita Bowden.
Raffles were won by Lorraine Langford, Gail Moroney, Jenny Law, Jenny Thomas and Margaret Stewart.
At the conclusion of the meal Rona thanked Vicki and her staff at Best Western for the delicious meals and great service provided through the year.
The next meeting of the Goulburn Lantern Club will be held at Best Western Plus on Lagoon Street on Friday February 8, 10.30am for the meeting at 11am.

At the February meeting arrangements will be made for the planned Race Day at the Community Centre Wollondilly Gardens, Saturday March 23.
