All of the incidents are believed to have happened in the early hours of the morning.
Of the three cars stolen, one was an Isuzu D-Max Utility from Zouch Rd, Yass, around 3am on Friday. Another was a Toyota Yaris from Murrumbateman Rd, Sutton, around 3am on Friday and the other was a Saab from Middle St, Murrumbateman, sometime at night, between Tuesday and Wednesday.
Thieves also attempted to steal a motorbike on Helen St in Fairley, Murrumbateman, around 4.40am on Friday.
A resident, who wished to remain anonymous, heard a car pull up, thought it to be Essential Energy to fix broken power supplies after the Thursday night storm, and saw three men take his neighbour’s motorbike.

The resident managed to spook thieves by flashing a torch through the window. The thieves then left the motorbike and took off in what was thought to be a Mazda with an ACT registration and a ute with a NSW registration.
Police are reminding people not to try to take situations into their own hands and to call Triple Zero (000) in an emergency.
Police also believe there may have been more incidents that have gone unreported and are urging anyone with information to call the Yass Police Station on 6226 9399 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Information will be treated in strict confidence.
All of the stolen vehicles are still missing and police are investigating reports.
Yass Police Sergeant Dave Cowell has urged drivers not to leave their keys or any valuables in vehicles.
