This day is about celebrating our gardeners, our foodies, our students, our #heartfarmer in ways that we can change the world, one farm at a time.
Our local Landcare groups are committed to promoting the principles of regenerative agriculture, helping farmers to adopt practices that work help to revitalise the soil, improve water cycles, increase biodiversity sequester carbon and improve the surrounding environment and farm productivity.
The Bowning Landcare group and friends are gathering at ‘Glenryan’, Wargeila Road, Yass on National Regenerative Ag Day to discuss drought management with Mathew Doyle.
Matt will share his learning from 10 years of holistic grazing and from his recent research trip to the USA. In particular, Matt will focus on the use of grazing charts as a management tool and how improved ground cover from planned grazing has increased the water availability at Glenryan.
Bring your lunch, chair, drink bottle and a friend.
