Laggan Pig Races

Watch as highly trained, elite young pig athletes race to get to the end of a challenging course and receive a tasty treat! Other activities on the day include live music and children's jumping castle. This event also features a Porkfest, with a tantalising and tasty selection of pork dishes to choose from. All proceeds go the Upper Lachlan Foundation.
Crookwell Irish Heritage Weekend

The 51st Annual Goulburn Rodeo, one of Australia's oldest running rodeos. Featuring a full program of rodeo events, bar and barbecue, sideshow entertainment, western wear shops, and coffee van. Twenty events. No glass, alcohol or dogs allowed.
Goulburn Bustle

An exhibition that presents the breadth of the Gallery's permanent collection, unleashed en masse for the first time in its 37-year history. Beginning with The Moffitt Bequest in 1956, continuing to today, Goulburn Bustle features hundreds of works from the collection and has been curated by previous directors Jennifer Lamb and Jane Cush, and current director Gina Mobayed.

See a thriving rural community with an active Progress Association, Rural Fire Service, SES, Landcare Group, Garden Club and Historical Society. A small museum housed in a replica building of the 1880 school is open to the public on market days. It's on the third Sunday of every month! Riversdale Historic Home offers its popular monthly event for visitors and locals alike. Indoor and outdoor seating. Gunning Show

A traditional country show that has plenty to offer families, with free kids events and lots to see and do! Showcased by the pavilion, filled to the brim with local produce, wool, arts, crafts and photography. On Saturday, come along from 3pm to watch trotting races and some of the country's premier horse sporting events. Bar and food available on the Saturday evening.
Armistice: the end of the war to end all wars

The theme of the Great War centenary continues this year, with the focus on "Returning Troops, the Spanish Influenza Epidemic - the Aftermath of War". Because of the tyranny of distance and the lack of suitable transport ships, many service personnel were still arriving back in Australia well into the 1920's.

There will be a photography competition where seniors and residents are invited to enter the photography competition in one of three categories: Photo taken by a Senior, Photo taken of a Senior and People's Choice Award.
