Our thoughts are with Joan Scott and Pat Delaney who are not well at present; and the Welfare ladies visited Iris Roberts and Judith Roper, who are both going well.
Dawn Carey celebrated her 90th birthday in December and attended three different birthday parties for this special occasion!
The raffle winners were Delma Nelson and Margaret Gooch; the lucky door prize, by Robyn King. We then partook of a very delicious meal of chicken and salad, or fish and salad.
As it was our annual general meeting, president Margaret Gooch presented her President's Report, recapping guest speakers during 2018 and social outings including lunches, Sutton Forest Winery and lunch, Hippy Day, Tour and Tea at St Joseph's Gate and Christmas Day, to name a few.
The Treasurer's Report was tabled and we then had the Election of Offices for 2019, which was presided over by Annie Brown-Bryan, our Zone Councillor.
The new committee is: President – Margaret Gooch; Vice President – Colleen Bopping; Secretary – Jenni Aubrey; Assistant Secretary – various members; Assistant Treasurer – Cathy Hunt; Delegates - Colleen Bopping and Jenni Aubrey; Welfare Officer – Brenda Writer; Publicity Officers – Carol Olsen and Delma Nelson.
A reminder that subs were due January 1 and must be paid before March 31. Subs are $20. Our next meeting will be Thursday March 7 at the Goulburn Soldiers Club and this is a set menu for $25.
