The Mulwaree on Show is on again this Friday, March 15 from 6pm to 9pm and it promises to be full of fun, music and food.
It truly is an event for all the family and it showcases the talent the students have on offer.
Deputy principal Russell Lieschke said the school had hosted an annual gala event every year since 2005 and 2019 promises to be bigger and better than ever.
"The 2018 extravaganza had over 600 students involved in performing, food preparation and service, and organising the event," he said.
"Over 2500 people attended last year. This event is a highlight on the school calendar and an opportunity for Mulwaree to showcase the talents and learning of their students.
"Flavours from across the globe, as well as top class entertainment and exhibitions, will be on offer at this year’s Mulwaree on Show."
He said the school hall would transform into a most amazing series of food stalls with more than 30 cultural dishes as well as Aussie classics to sample.
"The monster raffle is certainly worth getting a ticket in with over $2000 worth of prizes up for grabs in 10 raffle draws throughout the night," he said.
"Face face painting, street theatre and kiddy corner are all worth a visit, especially for future Mulwaree students."
There will be four performance stages on the night, featuring all areas of creative and performing arts.
The entertainment will feature music performances of all kinds, drama acts, dance items, martial arts displays, student-produced short films, dry ice science shows and the annual art exhibition.
"The Learning Centre will become High Tech High featuring Drone Racing, Robot Soccer, Sphero Obstacle Course and a Coding challenge, a live Green Screen and the new look Mulwaree Geographic photo competition will all keep the crowds entertained," Mr Leischke said.
"Those wanting to be active can make the most of Bubble Soccer and The MSA physical challenge.
"The entire night is carried out by students and staff of Mulwaree and is a great testament to the culture of the school."
Entry is $2, payable at the gate.
