The youngster has dominated the Championship for more than a year now, and last weekend saw no change to that status quo.
After a crash in the first heat saw Costa finish 14th, the 11-year-old won his second heat by seven seconds, came second in the third, won the fourth, the pre-final, and the final by over 10 seconds, which his father Con Toparis said was "most likely an unprecedented winning margin" in the Championship.
The win secures Costa's place on top of the Mini Max rankings, with 5498 points from the first two rounds. He leads Kristian Janev in second place by more than 200 points, while the next closest is Aiva Anagnostiadis on 5098.
The youngster's domination sees him maintain his role as the firm favourite to take out the Australian Championship, and the ultimate goal is another berth at the World Championships, which are set to take place in Italy this October.
The next round of the Australian Championship will take place at Ipswich from May 2 to May 4.
