The event will see both prominent Goulburn riders, Tom Toparis (Australian Supersport) and Troy Herfoss (Kawasaki Superbike) take to the track in front of their home crowds.
The ASBK is one of the biggest motorcycle events in Australia, and it is a particularly big draw for Wakefield Park this year as the track celebrates its 25th birthday.
Both Toparis and Herfoss come into this weekend's event in good form. Toparis recently claimed 11th place in the Superbike World Championships, and currently leads the Supersport division by a whopping 16 points. Meanwhile, Herfoss placed sixth in the first round at Phillip Island and will be looking to improve his position in front of a crowd full of familiar faces.
The action will start at 9.00am sharp each day, with the last races scheduled to finish between 4.00pm and 5.00pm.
Tickets are available through the Australian Superbike Championships website at www.ASBK.com.au. For more information visit either the ASBK or Wakefield Park websites.
