Former teachers Linda Polosak, Ruth Cook and Stephen Chapman had organised the reunion dinner for those who worked at the school in the 20th century.
The event was held at the Chisholm Room in the Goulburn Soldiers Club on March 30.
The idea for the reunion, which hosted staff and teachers from over five decades, came about as the organisers wanted to meet up with past colleagues and renew friendships.
"Three former teachers decided to have a reunion of both administration staff and teachers who taught at Goulburn High School during the 20th century," Mr Chapman said.
"We wanted to celebrate the contribution these teachers had made to the education of students while in the Goulburn community.
"Some of the teachers here even taught each other."
Two of the elder attendees were Ron Butterworth and Ross Banwell, both named guests of honour for the evening.
Mr Butterworth retired more than 30 years ago, and said it was great to catch up with his past colleagues.
"I retired back in 1984, so I am overwhelmed to be able to meet with my teacher friends of the past again," Mr Butterworth said.
"They were very happy times."
He went on to say that things had changed a lot since his day.
"Kids back then were really well behaved," he said.
"That was probably because no mobile phones were allowed."
A tour of Goulburn High School was planned for the Sunday morning.
