Lansdowne Park, on Bungonia Road, and its surrounding 14 hectares, is expected to fetch $3.8 million when Ray White Real Estate auctions the holding on April 12.
Sales manager Garry Hall said there had been strong interest from the Southern Highlands, Sydney and Canberra for the restored 1825 homestead and its surrounds, which include a convict-built coach house, stables, convict jail, guests quarters and vineyard.
The homestead was built for pioneer William Bradley, who was prominent in Goulburn's civic and community life. The Heritage Council of NSW imposed a permanent conservation order on the property some years ago.
Mr Hall said the heritage order was something that any new owner would have to negotiate.
If sold, the home would pass from the Lee family for the first time in 67 years. Current owner, Tracie Simon's grandparents bought Lansdowne Park in 1952. Tracie's late father, Neville Lee also lived there for many years before he passed away in 2013.
Tracie and husband Mark Simon restored the main homestead over 12 months. It has polished concrete and timber floors, pressed metal ceilings and modern kitchen and contains four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The property also includes a stone ballroom, two one-bedroom cottages, and a two-bedroom cottage.
The auction will be held at 11am at the Ray White auction rooms.

Also on April 12, at 1pm, Ray White will be auctioning four council properties, including 4647sqm of land at 163-167 Hume Street in the enterprise corridor. Mr Hall said there had been healthy interest in this parcel.
It will be sold with an encumbrance relating to trees on the site described as significant by the Office of Environment and Heritage. This requires any developer to purchase land elsewhere as a biodiversity offset.
Other council properties to be sold on the day include 8 Lanigan Lane, 1012sqm in Hercules Street and 2090sqm in Ben Bullen Place, Bradfordville.
Meantime, a public hearing will be held into the proposed rezoning of three other council land parcels. These are a section of the Albert Street park, a block in Hovell Street and another in Hercules Street. The council wants to rezone and sell the properties.
The hearing will be held at the council chambers on Thursday, April 11 at 6pm.
The community is also invited to make written submissions to: council@goulburn.nsw.gov.au or by phoning the council's property coordinator on 4823 4509. Submissions are due by April 9.
