HTDA stated they are "doing their bit for drifting as we focus on helping up and coming drivers gain the experience and exposure needed to compete on a national and international level, as well as helping to boost the profile of the sport, competitors and partner's competitors."
This is partly achieved by giving aspiring competitors the chance to hone their skills and get better at the sport.
"Friday of each of our events we have the practice day Drift4Real, where the Pro and ProAm competitors as well as the new drivers get the opportunity to get on track for an action packed practice day, giving the public and corporate customers the opportunity to jump into the passenger seats for only $49 during the day and get to see first hand the skills it takes to drift at this level," organisers said.
They have also designed an event program that is great for the public to come and watch the action, as well as enjoy their experience in the paddock.
"We also provide a mums room and kids entertainment and traders to round off a great family day out."
