This is the perfect time to enjoy them in Collector's crisp autumn weather.
There will be no shortage of children's activities and things to buy, see and do. The day is full of free activities, with a giant pumpkin display one of the main attractions.
As you enjoy all the festival has to offer, come and visit Upper Lachlan Tourism's booth we will be proudly promoting things to see and do in the beautiful Upper Lachlan Shire as well as running a fun and engaging social media campaign.
This will involve generous prizes, including a $100 gift voucher to the Taralga Hotel to use for lunch or dinner and a family pass for up to two adults and three children for entry to the Taralga Wildlife Park.

Crookwell Potato Festival
The events of the weekend start on the Friday evening with the Crookwell Potato Festival Art Show, Crookwell Library Book Fair and the enjoyable Last Night of the Proms Concert at St Bartholomew's.
Certainly one of the highlights of the Potato Festival is touring a viable and well known commercial potato farm in Crookwell, and meeting the potato farmer himself, NSW Landcare State Champion Garry Kadwell.
Visitors can enjoy an eco-farm tour and see how Crookwell potatoes and our abundant wildlife live in harmony.
Cooking demonstrations will be happening in the Patata Café from an array of culinary enthusiasts including Lyndey Milan OAMm, award winning presenter, food and wine teacher and consultant.
There are indoor and outdoor market stalls, The Bubble Man, inflatable slide, side show games, classic and vintage car show, Crookwell Spud Dogs fly ball demonstration, Crookwell Veterinary Hospital Pet Parade and the CWA Decorated Potato Competition.
Across the weekend, many of Crookwell's attractions are open including the Alpaca Farm Experience, Crookwell Railway Museum, 41 Cowper St - Tea House and Gallery and Crystal Brook Gardens and Lavender Farm.
