"The tour went very well and there was a great deal of interest," Ms Morgan said.
"The group was a mix of locals and folk from Sydney and Canberra.
"Some had worked at the hospital and some had relatives who had been patients, but all were interested in not only the hospital's history, but also the architecture."
One of the attendees was Heather Williams who had been to the hospital before.
"I'm very interested in the history of the sight and have liked it for many years," Ms Williams said.
Although everyone enjoyed the tour, some were not happy with the amount of vandalism in the site.
"I'm concerned about the preservation," Ms Williams said.
The next tour of Kenmore Hospital will be in November and a great deal of interest has already been expressed.
