She gave a very interesting talk about wild brumbies including rescue, history, ecology, research and training of brumbies found in various National Parks.
Some of the ways to keep track of the horses are camera traps and direct observation.
Several brumbies from the Blue Mountains area are now living on Andrea's property near Wombeyan Caves where she is helping to train brumbies to re-home them.
There were 23 members present, and several apologies.
Four of our members have birthdays in May, including Jenni Aubrey, Wendy Strauch and Carol Olsen.
The welfare ladies visited Judith Roper, Iris Roberts and Margaret Walcott recently.
Anne Hockey and Helen Bradley were presented with 10-year member badges and congratulated by all.
We have had a new banner produced so we can display it for community events as well as luncheons if required.
It has a plaque attached on the bottom: 'Donated in loving memory of Beryl Bales".
Beryl, a long-time member of VIEW, is no longer with us.
