Well the Goulburn Volunteer Expo is back again, this time at the Goulburn Community Centre on Friday May 24 from 10am to 1pm.
In a statement released by Goulburn Mulwaree Council, volunteering is a great way to make a difference in the community.
The benefits of volunteering include making new friends, learning new skills and allows you to support a cause you believe in.
The expo is an initiative of the Goulburn Volunteer Resource Service, which promotes volunteering, registers not-for-profit organisations who need volunteers and refers volunteers to registered organisations with volunteer positions available.
Some of the organisations attending include the Red Cross, St Saviours Cathedral, the SES, Meals on Wheels, the Goulburn Multicultural Centre and the Goulburn City Lions Club.
