Theres always plenty to do in the Upper Lachlan Shire and heres just a few ideas: Tarlaga Wildlife Park opens every day from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. during the school holidays.
The park offers picnic and barbecue facilities and theres a great selection of fascinating creatures on display, including Damara sheep, miniature horses, guanacos, llamas, alpacas, deer, emus, wallabies, dingoes, parrots and more. In the friendship farm you can hand feed and cuddle lambs.

Bond with friendly horses at a Horses Teaching Humans Workshop at Rubyvale, Laggan on Sunday 14th July.
The workshop involves a combination of guided meditations and interaction with horses, leaving participants soothed, nurtured and rejuvenated.
