Peter Mylonas from Peter Mylonas Property Solutions has been nominated as one of the finalists for John Greig OAM Community Service.
"It's very humbling for me to have been nominated for this award. It is an acknowledgement of services that have been done for the Goulburn community over the years," Mr Mylonas said.
He feels that being nominated as one of the finalists is a step forward.
He started his real estate business in the city 13 years ago, aiming to inculcate his values into the business. He believes in making everyone feel special.
Now in its 22nd year, there are 10 agency categories and 12 individual categories in the REINSW Awards for Excellence this year.
The success of three categories introduced in 2018 - Operational Leadership, Operational Support and Buyers' Agency - has seen their inclusion in the 2019 program.
"As the industry evolves, new scopes of practice emerge," REINSW President, Leanne Pilkington said.
"As the leading awards program for real estate in NSW, we aim to continually evaluate and improve our categories and processes."
Pilkington says finalists should be proud of their achievement.
"Being named a finalist in the Awards for Excellence is a great honour," she said.
"Finalists should share their success proudly as it is validation of a job well done."
