Madeline has also been selected to study at London's National School of Arts but had to postpone her course to next year to cover expenses like tuition and boarding fees.
"This has been my dream. I always wanted to go to an art school but never thought I would have the opportunity to go overseas. I am very excited and looking forward to it," Madeline said.
In a bid to achieve Madeline's dreams, the Smith family is organising 'The Ultimate Family Trivia Night' at the Goulburn Workers Club which includes trivia, games, food and several prizes to be won.
Madeline's mother Tanya said the trivia night would be helpful in raising the funds.
"She has worked very hard to achieve her dreams. When she was selected for Art Express, she was offered to apply for the National Arts School of London and she was successful. Unfortunately, we were unable to raise the funds so she has to postpone her course until next year," Mrs Smith said.
Tickets cost $15 for an adult and $5 for a child (under 12). A table for 10 people can also be booked for $130 for the night.
The trivia night is on Saturday, July 20 at 6:30 pm and tickets can be booked by calling the Goulburn Workers Club at 48213355 and at Auburn reception.
