Goulburn Post - Rosey Stronach
2019 AWARDS
- Finalist, Business Leader
Our very own Rosey Stronach, media sales manager of the Goulburn Post, was honoured as a finalist for Business Leader at the Goulburn Business Awards.
Rosey has been with the company that owns the Post, Australian Community Media, since August 2016.
She also worked at Fairfax (former owner) in Sydney from 1997 until 2004, with her last role as agency sales manager for Australian Financial Review.
Rosey said she felt a strong sense of achievement at having been chosen as a finalist for the first time and said it reflected on the entire Post team.
"Everyone at the paper works very hard to produce a product that serves our local community with quality news and content," she said.
"To be recognised as being part of that and leading our advertising team is very rewarding."
Rosey was quick to divert praise from herself and onto her committed sales team.
"The result shows the commitment of my team to our community," she said.
"My team prides themselves on the results they provide for their customers and the work they do within the business community."

Rosey said she was proud to work for the Goulburn Post newspaper, and considered it an institution within the region.
"The Goulburn Post in itself is a community," she said.
"We provide our readers with a trusted source of information and have done so since 1870.
"Our journalists and advertising team are well known in the community and strive to produce newspapers that inform, inspire and celebrate Goulburn and surrounds."
Additionally she acknowledged the role of the Goulburn Business Awards and the event's importance.
"The awards give our community the opportunity to acknowledge local businesses who are performing to a high standard and to recognise innovation in the business community," she said.
She encouraged local businesses to be a part of the business awards in the future, saying entering and attending was well worth the effort.
