Mrs Nesbitt (nee Latham) passed away some 10 years ago but this image was among a collage collated by her nieces.
A bit of digging and a chance conversation with local man, Jeff Gulson, revealed the photo was likely taken in front of the old Commonwealth Bank in Auburn Street. Mr Latham speculated the women had just received some type of award, judging by medals around their neck. Elsie Latham is pictured far left.

"A cousin told me the women were wearing uniforms from the Goulburn Munitions factory, but I don't know the significance of the medals," he said.
A company started the factory in partnership with government in 1941 to help the war effort, according to Tazewell's Grand Goulburn. The factory was located in Chantry Street on the former Supertex site.
If anyone can help identify others in the photo, Mr Latham can be contacted on 0412 52 7036.
