This week held nonstop action for local hockey fans at the Goulburn Hockey Centre, as the district semi-finals took place across all grades and the grand final lineups were decided.

The men's and women's first grade semis were the first cab off the rank, and the women kicked things off on Wednesday night with exciting fixtures between the North Blues and the Drifters, while Ajax took on the Fireflys.
The Drifters (4-2) and the Fireflys (5-0) emerged the winners and will face each other in the grand finals, which are played on August 31.
The men played on Thursday night, and the Drifters (2-1) scored a hard-earned win over the Fireflys while Taralga (3-1) sunk Tableland Thunder.
The juniors were next to take to the field, and the Under 15s got things underway as the Drifters took on Ajax and North Whites played Crookwell on Friday night.
Ajax won its encounter 5-1, while Crookwell and the North Whites played to a thrilling draw, 1-1.
The Under 15s were followed by the Under 18s on Friday, where the Fireflys and the Drifters played, and were followed by the Tableland Thunder and North Whites.
The Fireflys (3-1) and the North Whites (4-1) both claimed decisive victories on the night, and subsequently set up set up an intriguing grand final.
Now halfway through the semi-finals, Saturday began with meetings between Drifters Maroon and Crookwell White, and Crookwell Purple and Ajax White in the Under 11s division.
The youngsters from Drifters (2-1) and Ajax White (3-1) shone in the morning, and those two teams have scheduled a much-anticipated meeting at the end of the month.
The Under 13s followed on Saturday morning and proceeded to put on two of the tensest matches of the finals series.
Crookwell were narrowly felled by Ajax (1-0), while North Whites also prevailed by one goal over Drifters White (2-1).
The senior men returned in the second grade semi-finals on Saturday afternoon, as Gordon Hornets took on Fireflys and Tableland Thunder played Colts Soldiers.
In another pair of tense outcomes, the Fireflys (2-1) and the Colts (2-1) both scraped through.
The second grade women followed, where Ajax Colts White beat North Blues (1-0) and Ajax Colts Blue defeated North Whites (3-1) to set up an all-Ajax final.
The third grade women finished off the semi-finals, as Crookwell beat Fireflys (2-1) and Ajax Colts beat Norths Whites (2-1) in yet another pair of heartstopping matches.
