A man has been airlifted to Canberra Hospital following a single vehicle accident near Marulan.

His 14-year-old son has also been taken to Goulburn Base Hospital.
Police said the man, whom NSW Ambulance media said was 43 years old, was driving along Bulls Pit Road, at Greenwich Park when he lost control of his sedan and hit a tree at about 11.45am Saturday.
Police Rescue, NSW Fire and Rescue, Rural Fire Service, four ambulance crews and two helicopters were called to the scene, some 2km from the Towrang Road junction.
Police Rescue had to cut away the driver's door to free the man. NSW Ambulance media said he suffered injuries to his chest, neck and right leg. He was airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
His son sustained lung contusions and seatbelt abrasions and was transported to Goulburn Base Hospital in a stable condition.
The vehicle, understood to be Toyota Corolla, had its front-end extensively damaged. The driver was believed to have been headed toward Marulan at the time.
