"I have the experience of working in the retail industry in Goulburn. Based on that, I put few things together to start this Asian grocery store here," he said.
He takes pride in the fact that the business is locally owned and operated.
After spotting the gap in the market, he traveled to Canberra along with his friends who regularly travel there to shop.
He interacted with the shop owners and suppliers in Canberra and and had lengthy discussions with his friends to try and understand their requirements.
"I have tried to model my store based on that," Mr Blake said.
"One of our focus behind setting up the business was to try and fill the gap in the market due to which locals feel the need to travel to Sydney and Canberra and end up spending there," he said.
He feels that it's important for the community to support local businesses.
"We want the community to get behind us and show us their support."
Miss Hye-Gin Park, who moved to Goulburn recently, felt the gap in the market too when she started living here.
"I have several Asian friends who have to travel to Sydney and Canberra to get the food of their choices as not much options are available for them," Hye-Gin Park said.
"I used to catch the early morning train in order to travel Sydney and Canberra on the weekends to shop for these products.
"We had to spend lot of time, effort and money to get what we need.
"When my friends came to know about the opening of this store, they were very happy," she said.
The store has several options including traditional Korean and Chinese food.
They have also received ideas from the multicultural centre in terms of food choices.
The address of the 'One Asia' store is Shop 6, Russell Lane.
It's open from 9am-6am from Monday to Friday and 10am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
