Police said Kathleen Day, 20, took up the slack delivering cannabis by the kilogram to a dealer in Goulburn when her boyfriend, Connor O'Dwyer, lost his driving privileges in January 2019.

Court documents said detectives attached to Strike Force Arte had recorded Oliver making six deliveries to the dealer between October 2018 and January 2019, however was forced to enlist Day and her Suzuki Swift in the weeks after his driving arrest.

Day drove O'Dwyer and the cannabis to Goulburn on eight occasions between February and May, each time parking her car at the front of the house and waiting outside while O'Dwyer went inside for a short time before the pair then headed home.

On one occasion in late February, Day is recorded telling a family member "there was heaps of cops in Goulburn last night because the academy graduated. [We were] hiding in the bushes on the way home last night".

Police arrested Day and O'Dwyer during a vehicle stop near their home in June.

O'Dwyer refused to comment when police asked him if there was anything in the car to declare, however Day responded "yeah, four pounds of weed. It's mine".

The cannabis was found wrapped in Christmas paper in a Woolworths bag.

When interviewed, Day said the pair picked up the cannabis and drove it to Goulburn then returned the cash to the up-line supplier. She said they were paid about $700 for each delivery.

Day, who is on Supreme Court bail, pleaded guilty to eight counts of drug supply in Wollongong Local Court on Wednesday.

She will be sentenced in November.
