This Sunday, the Southern Tablelands Football Association Under 12 Girl's soccer team will travel to Valentine Park in Sydney to play in the semi-finals of Football NSW's state-run Champion of Champions competition.

The team will play Lilli Pilli from the Sutherland Association, who have 20,000 registered players, with a 9am kickoff time.
The Champion of Champion competition began with 18 teams in the Under 12 division, and it is now down to the final four, which means the STFA side is ranked in the top four in the state of NSW.
The winner of this game will play the winner of the other semi-final in the grand final on Sunday, October 20, in Sydney.
So far this season the Under 12 girls have played 28 games and scored 41 goals. They were runners up at the Young Gala day, won the Cowra Gala day, where they played six games without losing a single one. The was particularly impressive because they also played three hours of soccer with no available interchange players.
They are, without a doubt, one of the most talented sides in the state, particularly considering the player pool in the Southern Tablelands is significantly smaller than that of many metropolitan sides from cities such as Sydney.
Their season began back in April when they won the Southern NSW Branch Championships winning all six games and scoring 23 goals and conceding no goals.
The team is looking to emulate the achievement of the Wollondilly Soccer Club's Under 14 team who won the competition way back in 1993.
In other soccer news, the MBK United Soccer Club held a successful 50-year anniversary dinner last Saturday night, which saw a large number of players and supporters turned up.
The guest for the night was John Bowles who, along with the late Graham Coe, started the club back in 1969.
The club was part of four other teams who played in the first All Age Men's competition in the association the following year.
Also attending the night was former players Adrian Haynes and Simon Bugden, who are both now high level coaches with Coerver Coaching, one of the biggest coaching groups in the world.
A highlight of the night was the life memberships awarded to Stewart and Glenda Crear and Karan Waters for their more than 10 years of support of the club.
