A woman looking to move on clothes from her 20s, as well as a listing for "casino funds" are just some of the quirky headlines for sales in Goulburn this weekend as part of the 2019 Garage Sale Trail.

As of Wednesday, 14 sites in the Goulburn area had registered for the annual event, held simultaneously across Australia. It gives people an opportunity to buy, sell and re-use items, at the same time haggling for a bargain.
Goulburn woman Helen Hawkins is getting on the act. She's combining items from her late mother, Val Churchill's home, with her own at a garage sale at 20 Rhoda Street.

"Most of it is mine but there's a lot of Mum's lovely craft as well," she said.
Clothes, household items, books, kids' toys, scrapbooking, quilts and plenty of other items are up for grabs too. Her garage sale runs from 8am to 3pm Saturday and 8.30am to 12 noon Sunday.
In Goulburn, other participating garage sales are at 111 Victoria St, 29 Ballanya Ave, 65 Prince St, 5 Ledger St, 30 Dewhirst St, 14 Hazelwood Pl, 113 Mundy St, 17 Evans St, 11 Cooma Ave, 849 Middle Arm Rd.
A group stalls will be held at 31 Lisgar St and 11 Emma St, Goulburn. At Tallong, 30 stallholders are cobining for a car boot sale at Memorial Drive, Tallong.
