Two men and a woman were injured in a multiple-vehicle crash near Bungendore on Friday afternoon.
Police said at around 4.30pm on Friday, October 18, two vehicles and a truck collided on the Kings Highway, 4km south of the intersection of the Kings Highway and Goulburn Road.
The driver of the truck stopped briefly after the crash before leaving the scene. He was last seen travelling east on the Kings Highway towards Braidwood. The truck is described as a flat-bed truck with possibly a small crane on the back.
A man in his 30's had to be cut from the wreckage of one of the vehicles. He is currently in a stable condition
A 32-year-old man and a female in her 30's sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash.
All were taken to Canberra Hospital, with the 30-year-old man being airlifted from the scene.
Inquiries into the events leading up to the crash are continuing.
Officers from the Monaro Police District are appealing for anyone who might have been travelling on the Kings Highway this afternoon and have dash cam footage of the crash to contact them.
