Member for Goulburn Wendy Tuckerman advised the Goulburn Post of the extra time for the trial period of the service on Friday.
Mrs Tuckerman said she wanted to ensure the TrainLink coach trial connecting Goulburn with Sydney and Canberra has the best chance of success.
"I have been working closely with the Minister for Regional Transport and Roads Paul Toole, who has confirmed the trial will be extended until March 2020," she said.
"We understand the difference better transport connections can make to communities in regional NSW and the extension of these services is vitally important.
"I encourage everyone to get on board and support the trial to give these services the best chance of becoming permanent."
Last week, Mrs Tuckerman presented a petition to NSW Regional Roads and Transport Minister Paul Toole to extend the trial, with an opportunity for ongoing consultation and review.
"The feedback provided by the community was certainly important in this instance. Everyone who contacted my office had representations made on their behalf. I am committed to ensuring connectivity to our region," she said.
"This service needs your patronage, I cannot stress enough use it or lose it."
The trial NSW TrainLink coach service connecting Goulburn with Sydney and Canberra started in September last year.
The trial was extended into the second half of 2019, with a reduction to three days a week for the Goulburn to Canberra service.
