A statement from NSW Police Media said in January 2019, an investigation commenced after a senior constable allegedly assaulted an 18-year-old man as he was being taken into custody for a number of offences.
On Thursday, October 24, a 38-year-old senior constable, attached to the Southern Region, was served a Future Court Attendance Notice for two counts of common assault.
He is due to appear at Goulburn Local Court on December 11.
His employment status is currently under review.
