A man has been airlifted to hospital following a two-truck crash south of Goulburn.
Emergency services were called to the scene at about 8.30am, 10km south of the city on the Federal Highway.
Chief Inspector John Sheehan said a southbound lorry carrying general goods hit the back of another in the highway's southbound lane, 2km past the interchange with the Hume Highway.
The lorry bounced off the Isuzu truck and landed right-side up halfway down an embankment on the highway's median. The male driver, from Sydney, believed to be aged in his forties, sustained leg injuries and was treated by ambulance at the scene before a Toll helicopter, which landed nearby, airlifted him to hospital at about 9.30am.
The Isuzu rolled onto its passenger side and boxes of drinks and other goods scattered across the road. The man, from Sydney, thought to be in his sixties, suffered shock but no physical injuries. He was treated at the scene.
NSW Fire and Rescue, RFS units and the Roads and Maritime Service also attended the scene.
The highway was initially blocked but police directed traffic through one lane soon after.
