He has been a part of the house music scene in Australia and overseas over 30 years.
He has performed under his real name and his alternate, 'The King of Sunday Morning', all over Europe and Australia.
"Relocation meant retiring from the live scene that I loved," he said.
"But it didn't mean the end of my journey with it.
"With years of experience, I developed an online magazine, Switched On Music!, specifically devoted to long-form journalism, which produces in-depth articles about the history of house music and its emerging artists," McCauley said.

"It's about people who work in the industry, stories that need to be told, historical pieces and previews of recent music that have been released. It's a way of re-engaging the community at large with music again.
"With streaming services easily available these days, music has become fairly disposable. People don't get to form a relationship with the artist any more. It's just a constantly evolving playlist. We are trying to build that relationship up again."
Through Switched On Music!, people could "engage with an artist's journey and create a sense of ownership with the music they produce, so they are aware of the stories that surround an artist's body of work," he said.

McCauley relocated to Goulburn in January this year so that his son, who has special needs, could be closer to animals and pursue a rural life.
"My younger son has a disability," he said. "So, we made a choice as a family to come to Goulburn and be a part of the rural community."
He enjoys living in Goulburn and says it has been a positive environment for him. "Technology has now enabled me to conduct my business at an international level from a rural location.
"Goulburn has all the major infrastructure components available in a big town. The environment has been very fertile for me in terms of my writing," he said.
McCauley also provides content and copywriting service through his agency, Mirabal Entertainment, for the broader dance music community.
"We are planning some releases on my own label Vagrant Soundz with Sydney based DJ/producer Tony Garcia and in the future, I hope to bring that house, disco and soulful sound to Goulburn on a regular basis," he said.
"Last weekend, I performed at the Tattersalls, which allowed me to bring that house music vibe to the region. I enjoyed myself thoroughly and hopefully we can do it all again."
