A wonderful service of celebration was held in the Uniting Church Sunday, November 10 commemorating the return from exile and the completion of the new spire.

Sincere thanks were expressed to John and Belinda Crooks and the whole Crooks family on their generosity in allowing worship to be held at Craigs Hill Chapel for over 4.5 years.
Guests travelled from around the state, from nursing homes, and from around the parish and Canberra Region presbytery.
Rev Tim Jensen challenged us to examine their our prejudices and to dismiss them as Jesus challenged crowds to do in his own time and space.

Craig Walshaw from Advanced Building prepared a Powerpoint presentation of works and progress of the spire. Steve Satori from Atomic Fabrication, who constructed the spire in Mittagong, also attended.
Jim Webb, who has taken progress photos throughout the 4.5 year journey, was also faithfully in attendance with his camera working away.
The Uniting Church choir sang a celebration song of return. The service was a blessing to all in attendance.
