Plenty of past and present staff and students of the school came together on Saturday, November 17 to celebrate its 150 year anniversary of public education.
Among the attendees were brothers Rob and Richard Greenlees who were students at the school during the 40's. They were taught by William Neve, whose great grandson Josh Allen was also at the celebrations.
As expected, a lot has changed since that time.
"William was the only teacher at the time and there was only one building for all students," Richard said.
There was a presentation on the day which saw former teacher in the late 60's Peter Clark talk about his memories of the school.
"On the day the moon landing took place, we had 34 children and one teacher, making it the largest one teacher school in NSW," Mr Clark said.
"During the day, we crowded in the one classroom sitting on the floor looking at the television.
"It was a 14 inch portable television.
"We were all lying on the mat, looking at the scenes as Armstrong took that one small step, one giant leap."

Some of the other attendees included Elena Hando who was the only kindergarten student, director of education Kim Pavier Goulburn Mulwaree mayor and deputy mayor Bon Kirk and Peter Walker and Fred Walshe who was a student in the mid 60's.
"The only thing that hasn't changed during my time here is the school bell," Mr Walshe said.
School captain Sophia Ojwang and Elena were in charge of unveiling a plaque to officially recognise the school's 150 year anniversary.
