The Criminal Groups Squad's Strike Force Raptor have laid additional charges following an investigation into a criminal group allegedly supplying prohibited drugs and firearms across NSW.

In June 2018, investigators from the Criminal Groups Squad's Strike Force Raptor commenced an investigation into a criminal group involved in the alleged supply of prohibited drugs and firearms across the state.
During the investigation, police seized a total of 31 firearms.
This includes six handguns and 26 long-arms - such as a M1 Carbine, two SKS semi-automatic rifles, a military self-loading rifle, a Mossberg pump-action and a Ruger semi-automatic rifle - knives, knuckle dusters, ammunition, 20kg of silver, large commercial and commercial quantities of GBL and MDMA, a tablet press and prescription drugs.
Four men - aged 22, 33, 44, and 65 - have previously been charged. They remain before the courts.
Following further inquiries, the 22-year-old man - now aged 23 - was arrested at Southern Highlands Police Station about 10.30am on Tuesday.
The Buxton man was charged with supply prohibited firearm to unauthorised person and supply prohibited firearm to person unauthorised to possess it.
Police will allege in court that the man was involved in the supply of two rifles at Dee Why in May 2019.
He was refused bail to appear at Goulburn Local Court on Wednesday.
Strike Force Raptor was established in 2009 and conducts proactive investigations and intelligence-based, high-impact policing operations to prevent and disrupt conflicts, and dismantle any network engaged in serious organised criminal activity.
