Singer, actor and Highlands resident John Waters has organised the FireAid 2020 concert, to raise funds for those who have lost their homes and livelihoods in the bushfires.
The concert, hosted by Julia Zemiro, will be held at Bong Bong Picnic Racecourse in Bowral on Friday, January 24.
Gates will open at 2pm and the show will start at 3pm.
The line-up will include John Waters, Darryl Braithwaite, John Paul Young, Megan Washington, Jack Jones, Margaret Urlich, Leo Sayer and Stewart D'Arrietta with the songs of Leonard Cohen.
Justine Clarke will also join in to entertain the children at this all-ages event.
More artists will be added to the line-up soon.
John Waters said the concert would be about "community spirit, unconditional love for each other" and "fire-in-the-belly action".
"All of us want to do something; but I realised I had the power of public recognition and that I had a lot of friends in the music and entertainment industry with a lot more of that power than me, and the idea of FireAid2020 the concert was born," Waters said.
Net proceeds from this event will go to the Red Cross bushfire relief and directed to the Southern Highlands division to assist those in the Southern Highlands and South Coast regions.
Host Julia Zemiro said "Australia is in a time of genuine crisis",
"Like so many other communities around the country, the Southern Highlands have been affected by the horror of fire and loss," she said.
"As a community we can do what always works: Band together, work together and support one another.
"Music is also a way to allow our emotions out: to cry, to sing along, to maybe smile again for a while.
"As a new-ish resident to Bowral, I am humbled to be hosting FireAid2020, an event John Waters has pulled together with a little help from his friends."

There are several major bushfires currently burning in the Southern Highlands.
In the north the Green Wattle Creek fire is more than 274,000 hectares in size.
Meanwhile in the south the Morton fire is more than 17,000 hectares, and the Currowan fire is more than 303,000 hectares.
Tickets to FireAid 2020 are on sale now via Ticketek. The cost is $65 for adults and $20 for people under 16.
