The festival is a series of dates that tours folk and contemporary acoustic artists to small (sometimes tiny) halls in communities all over Australia. In 2020, it rolls into Goulburn with Siobhan Miller and Jack Carty. Siobhan Miller (pictured) is one of Scotland's foremost singers and an exceptional talent, renowned for a unique vocal style paired with evocative song-writing. Jack Carty is a critically acclaimed Australian songwriter known for honesty, patience and love of the craft learned through the sheltered valleys and close-knit communities of a rural childhood in sleepy Bellingen NSW.

Girls' Big Night In

Almost everyone knows a woman affected by breast cancer. In Crookwell, women are banding together to throw a fun event that provides support and raises money for research. The event has raised $13,000 in three years and that number is expected to go up again this year. Donations will also go to bush fire relief. Join this annual community get together as a group, with a friend or on your own and meet new people. The night includes dinner, drinks, games and chocolate wheel prizes, plus a two-course dinner and drink on arrival. Almost everyone goes home with something. There will also be plenty of health information on the night.

Tootsie Fine Art & Design in Yass will host two of Canberra's favourite comedians as they get ready for the festival circuit with their new shows. Get in for guaranteed laughs featuring Chris Ryan (pictured) and Tom Gibson. Ryan won Best Newcomer at the Sydney Comedy Festival in 2019. Gibson sold out his show at the Canberra Comedy Festival in 2019 the third straight year and performed a 13-show run with Ryan at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
