The event is a series of tours that takes the best folk and contemporary acoustic artists performing at major Australian festivals, and sends them on the road to small halls in regional communities all over Australia.
Presented in partnership with major Australian Festivals: Woodford Folk Festival, Cygnet Folk Festival and Illawarra Folk Festival, the summer tour kicked off at the Woodford Folk Festival on January 1 2020, before circling Tasmania. Performances at the Illawarra Folk Festival from January 16 to 19 saw the beginning of two weeks of touring through NSW.
The Goulburn leg is supported by Goulburn Mulwaree Council's Marketing and Events Unit and the Hume Conservatorium.
It will be held at Saint Saviour's Cathedral at 6.30pm Thursday for a 7pm start.
Executive producer, Eleanor Rigden said the tour had traditionally been extremely popular, with shows selling out across two states in previous years.
"But what has struck me most in these towns is the diversity of the histories held in the halls," she said.
"We hear stories of convicts and bushrangers, artistic pioneers of the early settler years, of secret cake recipes that go back generations and of local legends whose stories are meticulously preserved."
The tour will feature one of Scotland's foremost singers, Siobhan Miller together with critically acclaimed Australian songwriter Jack Carty. Bringing a local flair to the stage, Hume Conservatorium student Will Battiste will also perform.

Organisers said Siobhan would bring an international flair with her "exceptional talent and unique vocal style" paired with her evocative song-writing. Miller creates music with detail and rich melodies that combine the sounds of indie and alternative music, along with sounds from her roots in folk music.
Australian songwriter, Jack Carty has been making, touring and releasing original music since 2010. During this time Carty has released five full-length studio albums, toured extensively throughout Australia, the UK, North America, Europe and New Zealand and has won numerous accolades.
