Police Rescue, general duties officers, ambulance and the RFS were called to the single-vehicle crash on Currawang Road at 6.30am.
Police said a man driving a westbound Subaru crashed and rolled his vehicle into a paddock some 10 to 15km from the Braidwood Road.
Passersby assisted him and notified emergency services.
A NSW Ambulance media spokeswoman said the male, believed to be aged in his forties, was taken by road ambulance to Canberra Hospital suffering seatbelt trauma, bruising to his head, back pain and a shoulder injury. He was in a serious but stable condition.
At the same time, emergency services attended a truck crash on the Federal Highway, south of Goulburn.
Police said a small pantech rolled in the southbound lane near the Hume Highway junction at Yarra. The man, also aged in his forties, wasn't injured but the crash blocked one lane for about an hour.
