Due to be held on February 15, extreme weather conditions is one of reasons due to which the show is now cancelled.
"A number of factors were taken into consideration including the extreme weather conditions, the incredible support of the RFS and our volunteers who help run our rodeo, and animal welfare," Micheal Berg, secretary, Goulburn Rodeo Club said.
"Most of our committee members are rural firefighters. Rural Fire Brigade runs a barbeque on the day. Even if the fires are not around, they will be exhausted after fighting months of fire.
"Meanwhile, with smoke in the air, we can't expect the crowd to sit in that sort of weather conditions and animals to be a part of the show."
"It is with deepest regrets that we have made the decision to cancel this year's Goulburn Rodeo."
