The 2019 Australia's Got Talent finalist and a contender to represent Australia at Eurovision last week was the headline act for Vibesfest at the Goulburn Recreational Area on Sunday, February 16.
From his spectacular entrance to his rendition of You're The Voice among other songs, the crowd stood up and danced along all night long.
He wasn't the only performer on the night though, with The Rich Pitcher being the support act as well as a few bands showcasing the talented youth in town.
Goulburn Mulwaree Council youth services coordinator Luke Wallace said Mr Tambo was a fantastic get and felt the crowd appreciated being able to watch him live.
"It was a fantastic night and there was a great turnout," Mr Wallace said.
"Everybody seemed to enjoy it.
"The local bands were great and everyone got up and danced with Mitch.
"I don't think there was anyone sitting down in the end which was great to see."
Despite the predicted storms, the event was moved from Belmore Park to the Recreational Area, but that didn't seem to bother anyone.
"Even though we changed venues due to the rain, the crowd still came out," Mr Wallace said.
"We could keep it here next year, but it's something for the committee to look at over the next couple of months.
"If we do stay, we'll go back to have a look at it, see what went well and see what we can improve on."
It was only with the help of Councillor Alfie Walker and his connections through Mission Australia that fellow Aborginal man Mitch Tambo was able to come.
Mr Walker was also lucky enough to give the star act a tour of the town.
"It's great to have Mitch come out and showcase our Aboriginal culture and heritage," Mr Walker said.
"I picked him up from the airport, drove him around and looked after him."
Mitch Tambo was the perfect act to end 12 hours of festivities which began with the Goulburn Multicultural Festival earlier that day.
