On Friday, February 14 29 members and friends attended the gathering at the Gordon hotel. Old friends caught up in the beer garden with the event lasting until midnight. Some members traveled from as far as the Gold Coast and Kurri Kurri. Friendships were renewed after 50 years and good times were had by all who attended. Bishop Pat Power and 91-year-old Lorna Watts were among special invited guests and prompted fond memories of barbecues and a sense of family. The Catholic Youth Club hopes to make the reunion an annual event with plans for Goulburn locals to meet once a month for coffee and a chat.
