Over $1300 was raised when Senior constables Joe Fitzgerald, Kim Finch and Gary Hansaker helped serve a sausage sizzle to raise funds for the school.
"It's a way of showing that the police want to support the community," Senior Constable Fitzgerald said.
"We have had plenty of positive approaches in this worthy cause and the public has received this very well.
"People have been handing in donations, too, in addition to paying for the food."
The Crescent School is a special education school that gratefully receives donations from the community and organisations.
