Rose and the team are currently working remotely in response to the COVID-19 emergency with the office now closed. In the short-term, events, workshops and public delivery is postponed or cancelled and the focus for STA will be to continue supporting our communities and creatives impacted by the current situation.
We will also be active through the network of regional arts organisations. If you're a creative living in the area, it's more important than ever to stay connected to STA via our newsletter and social media where we will share opportunities and creative content from our region and across the world.
The other big news is a new date for the STA annual general meeting, now scheduled for Tuesday, May 12 from 10am. The format of the meeting will most likely be online to comply with the social distancing regulations and public safety. Those that email an RVSP to attend to ao@southerntablelandsarts.com.au will be forwarded the details.
When we emerge from social isolation Rose and members of the STA team and board will hit the road in a series of meet and greets across the region, listening, sharing and connecting. But in the meantime, stay connected to us online and through social media.
The Southern Tablelands Arts wishes everyone a safe passage through the difficult times ahead. Even during these tough times, we are working to support our creative culture and the people in our community that contribute to it and benefit from it.
