A small plane performed an emergency landing at Goulburn airport at 5.30pm on Monday evening due to a fault with its front landing gear.

The plane initially encountered a problem at 4pm on a scheduled training flight.
Upon trying to land, the front landing gear did not extend out. After numerous attempts, an emergency was declared and emergency services attended the airport.
The plane made at emergency landing at 5.30pm, with the main landing gear extended, but the nose of the plane hit the ground and moderate damage was caused.
The pilot, who was single occupant of the plane, walked away uninjured.
