For Goulburn's Tess Wharton, who feared her small studio gym and personal trainer business might not make it to the other side, it's a big relief.
"It means that I can get up and run at full potential again," she said.
"And I do train people with some serious health issues, and they badly need to exercise.
"Now they'll be able to look after their health again."
She said her income had taken a hit through coronavirus, and she had found the past months very stressful, but had been heartened by the support she received.
"My clients are like a family," said Mrs Wharton.
"Those that could kept walking and exercising with me one-on-one, so that I could cover my rent, which my landlord reduced a bit.
"Clients wanted to see me on the other side - it's just amazing the support I've had."

She is still concerned that the turn of the weather coupled with nervousness about infection might put some people off coming back, but said there would be some changes to ensure safety.
"I have a chronic lung disease class that gets up to 20 people, so I'll probably have to spread them across two classes," she said.
"So we'll reduce numbers, everything will be wiped before and after, and we'll have hand sanitiser."
From June 13, the following will be allowed:
- Fitness, gymnasiums, pilates, yoga and dance studios can reopen with up to 10 people per class and 100 people in an indoor venue;
- Community centres, including their recreational facilities can reopen;
- Some indoor recreational facilities including pools and saunas can also reopen with restricted numbers;
- Tattoo and massage parlours can reopen with up to 10 clients
Community sport competitions can restart for those aged 18 years and under from July 1.
