A man has been charged after a fatal two-vehicle crash in Queanbeyan last year.

About 3.20pm on Monday, December 23, emergency services were called to McCrae Street, near Lanyon Drive, following reports a Toyota Yaris sedan and motorcycle had collided.
The Toyota driver, a 57-year-old man, was not injured and taken to Queanbeyan Hospital for mandatory testing.
The motorcycle rider, a 74-year-old man, was taken to Queanbeyan Hospital with face, chest and leg injuries. He died in hospital on Wednesday, January 1.

Officers from the Crash Investigation Unit commenced an investigation into the surrounding the crash.
Following inquiries, the 57-year-old man attended Queanbeyan Police Station on Sunday, May 31.
He was issued a court attendance notice for negligent driving (occasioning death).
The man, from Kambah, ACT, is due to appear at Queanbeyan Local Court on Monday, August 24.
