Staff at Goulburn District Court House are busy making changes in anticipation of the return of jurors by the end of next month.

A spokesperson for the Department of Community and Justice said preparations were in place to enable the resumption of jury trials at Goulburn Court House.
"While dates are still being finalised, it is hoped the next trial will start in the week commencing 27 July," they said.
A spokesperson from the Sherriff's Office said the safety and well being of jurors was the number one priority.
To mitigate the risk of COVID-19, a raft of new measures have been introduced to protect jurors during the pandemic.
These include:
- Increased cleaning throughout the courthouse
- Additional hand sanitiser available for jurors
- Catering has been changed from shared lunch platters to individually packaged meals
- Extra screening questions to assess whether jurors have been in contact with coronavirus or are exhibiting flu-like symptoms
- Every person entering the courthouse will go through a health screening process that includes having their temperature checked
- Furniture will be arranged in deliberation rooms to maintain social distancing guidelines
- Social distancing will also be observed inside the courtroom.
The Sheriff's Office spokesperson said the department recognised the health crisis was rapidly changing and was continuing to monitor the situation closely, as well as complying with directives from Federal and State Governments.
