He travelled to Australia's first inland city last month so that he could share their story.
The Bowral-based filmmaker calls Goulburn as "a truly historic and modernised town with a lot to offer."
On his visit, he spoke to locals, met with businesses after COVID-19 and captured beautiful locales in a three-minute video clip which has gone viral on social media.
"There is something here for everyone. These regional towns have so much to offer. I made the short video to give a tour of this town to the world," Mr Murfitt said.
"I wanted to show what it's like living in Goulburn, why do people enjoy living there, what are the main things people come here to see, what they are passionate about, and what brings them together."

In the clip, he spoke to businesses in the area like Jim's Bean Machine, Trappers Bakery, and Kingsdale Wines who shared their experiences on how they are making a comeback after being affected by COVID-19.
"I felt that the businesses in the area are a bit relieved as things are starting to improve," he said.
The three-minute clip includes some iconic images, including that of the big merino, that captures the essence of the town.

"There are so many things for both youths and elderlies that they can do in the city and I want to sell Goulburn as more than just a town," he added.
The clip captures the friendliness of the locals, beautiful historic architecture in town, and the "mighty and serene" Bungonia National Park, frequented by bushwalkers, covers, and wildlife experts.
"There are so many places here that even I was not aware of. Now, I want to share it with everyone so that they can come and experience it for themselves," he said.
