A new mobile phone tower and what the government says will be a "faster and more reliable wireless broadband internet service," are coming to the region.

A new Optus mobile tower will be built at Bannaby Hill, near Taralga, under the state's $50 million Connecting Country Communities Fund.
Residents have long complained of poor reception but particularly during the Long Gully fire in the Bannaby area in January, 2018.
A spokesman for Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW, John Barilaro, said it would be in service by mid-2021.
It is one of 21 planned for rural areas. Another Optus tower will be constructed at Majors Creek. Telstra is also delivering some of the infrastructure elsewhere.
Meantime, Collector, Gunning, Tarago and Gundaroo are among 11 regional areas set for improved internet connectivity.
Mr Barilaro's spokeswoman said this would occur through improvement and extension of the current network of towers and infrastructure.
Rural communications carrier, Yless4U, will complete the work by September, 2021.
Mr Barilaro said internet speeds would "more than double" by that date, with further improvement by May, 2025.
"This will improve safety, boost opportunities for businesses, increase community access to services, connect family and friends, and ensure younger residents can access the online educational resources they need," he said.
The NSW Telecommunications Authority is partnering on the project.
