Endeavour suspended its contract in with the Goulburn Mulwaree Council in April to protect workers from COVID-19. The Sinclair Street facility employs people with disabilities.
A spokesperson from the council said they "resumed recycling with Endeavour Industries on May 11 after a short period of sending our recycling to Re.Group Canberra".
"Public drop off at endeavour is currently closed while they make some necessary public safety improvements," they said.
Endeavour Industries manager Sonya White said they were not fully back on the laundry side of the business but "still going very well".
She said the recycling side was back at full capacity.
The business has made a commitment to social distancing and hygiene practices to protect staff.
Due to social distancing they "cannot fit as many staff members in lines to sort the recycling".
They have implemented a COVID-19 register, social distancing signage, take temperatures daily, supply extra santisers, PPE masks and support employees with regular toolbox talks on hygiene, social distancing and, health and safety.
Mrs White said "we are doing everything we can."
She said during closure the building underwent maintenance and upgrades "so that our team had something to come back to".
Members of the community have approached Mrs White saying they heard Endeavour Industries had been sold. She said the business had not been sold and was not for sale.
